Before I begin my real name is Suzy Burgoyne, but feel free to call me Mave!
But how did this job (read, obsession) begin?
When did my collection of candles and pampas become so prolific that it could dress an entire venue like a dream?
I’m glad you asked.
“I was working as a waitress in a cocktail bar.”
Well. Not quite. It was more of a rustic country pub. But it’s where I started on a journey that would take me from Pint-Puller to Engagement and Events Specialist to a stint in Australia and then back again, the pull to work in events too strong to ignore.
I married my person (read: Jack!) in 2019 at Broughton Hall, and that’s when I realised that my love for weddings, coordinating & working in an industry which celebrated individuality & love was my calling!
As a wedding coordinator and stylist in Yorkshire, I will never get bored of talking about your love story. I want to know every, tiny detail because that will be the inspiration for the overall look of your day.
Your styling should be stamped with your style. It should perfectly compliment you, your venue and your bride tribe. As your stylist/ coordinator I will become your wedding wing woman!

I am a 5ft tall Pisces
I have a half blue/ half brown eye
I used to run a spray tanning business called ‘Umber Tans’
I went travelling solo to Australia & lived/ worked in Melbourne
I love to go skiing, queen of the snowplough
I have previously worked as a: Waitress, Receptionist, Quantity Surveyor, Project Manager, PA & Employee Engagement Specialist
I part own a Coffee Shop in a Gym ( The ESC.). My Barista skills= Very Average!
I have an overwhelming fear of s-n-a-k-e-s (shudders)
When I am not knee deep in candles I either go to the gym or binge eat Cream Eggs
I used to sneak footlong Subways into nightclubs
